Salvatore nods and shrugs. "Perhaps. Oh I have been here four maybe five years now. Much like your grandparent, I am an ambassador of trade. To Kiev and to the mongols for the Republic, and to the prince's court for clan Cappadocian. And you?" Salvatore looks William up and down in quick assessment. "Well dressed, well spoken, well aware of ancestry, I would guess, clan Ventrue?"

"Yes, very good assessment. My father was given some new land by the mongols for his support. Just outside of Kiev. He reciently died and my brother and I inherited the land. I decided I would take the newer and bigger portion being the eldest. Plus it sits me closer to Kiev which is a good thing in my opinion."

[Salvatore]

"And, do you have business interests here il mio nuovo amico?"

[William Stafford]

"Not yet if I am honest. I am on the doorstep to Kiev so its within my own personal interests to announce myself in the city as I will be a frequent visitor. If other things come up? Well who knows?"

[Edith]

Edith looks around.

"I wounder when the prince will grace use with his prescense?"

[William Stafford]

"Does he usually keep people waiting this long? Not that I mind of course."

[Edith]

"I have only meet him the once I avoided him during his fight with the town before he controled it, the servant said he is out hunting, what I don't know but he may get caught by the werwolves."

[William Stafford]

William shrugs "I dont know. He may be hunting within the city rather than the country side."

[Edith]

"I may doudt that he doesn't seem to be someone who can be restrained and hunting in the city maybe something he finds anoying in this."

[William Stafford]

"I think the forests are fairly safe. Well the forsets close to the city and some of the larger settlements. I think werewolves lurk in the more remote parts of the forest. Ive never seen one on my travels and guess they stay away from the main routes? I dont know, either way I dont see why the prince would risk his life just to be entertained. But who knows? "

The Prince arrives, smiling broadly-

A joyous gathering.

He walks up to your group, obviously expecting some show of respect.

Salvatore gives the prince a formal bow, removing his cap with a flourish. "Majesty, it is a joyous gathering now."

Edith does a formal courtesy.

"I hope your hunting went well."

Oh, yes, it did. I brought down one of these damned werewolves..but as soon as he died, he became human. I had fancied a coat made out of their pelts..no matter, his body shall burn, and his skull shall be staked in the woods, far from here as a sign.

The Prince looks pleased. A group of mongols is bringing the corpse of a young blond man, whose body looks soaking wet, like it has been washed several times, or dunked in a river, perhaps.

You can see several cruel slashes, crossing his face, and ripping out part of his face, and one eye.

William looks at the body as it is carried through. However he does not comment on the killing of a werewolf...

Salvatore bows, "if you will excuse me, sire, I wanted to discuss a few trade relations matters with your Mongol and native advisors. I have new and improved weapons stock to show them and new arrangements with the natives to be established. I presume that the usual compensatory arrangements stand?"
